My favorite city in the world

Paris. Whenever I watch movies or tv shows with scenes of this city I always catch myself smiling. I love everything from the language, the food, the beauty of the city, the darkness of its history, the smells, the crazy politics, the art, and the Parisians. I was an international studies major and french minor in college so I decided to study abroad in Paris for a semester. I lived with a french family with three young kids who knew way more about the world than I did at that time. I would do anything to be able to go back and relive those six months and truly appreciate everything the city has to offer. I remember being so annoyed at my daily commute that took upwards of an hour from the suburbs where I lived to my school near the jardin du luxembourg. I was in PARIS. What could I have possibly complained about? Oh, youth is wasted on the young :)

Summer in Switzerland, please

My experience in Switzerland is a perfect example of the truth of the saying "when one door closes, another opens." I went to law school during arguably the worst time I could have. I was expecting to get some great internship during my first summer, and in reality, I had nothing. So what is a girl to do? Study abroad in Geneva of course! Looking back, I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to live abroad once again because... sadly... it was probably my last time. I'll take my summer in Switzerland over a summer staring at the computer any day.

the water color was unreal

p.s. excuse the picture quality. I used to value the color of the camera (I just HAD to have the pink one) over the quality of the pictures :)
